§ 01 · What every piece receives
Every work receives a permanent identifier at the moment of sale. Immutable, searchable, and tied to the piece for life.
Signed digital and physical certificate issued by The Blend, referencing the registry number, the artist, and the exact work.
A chain of custody is maintained across every transfer. Owners choose whether to appear publicly or remain anonymous.
Every institution, gallery, museum, and public presentation the work appears in is logged against the registry entry.
Editorial features, catalogues raisonnés, monographs, and press appearances tied to the work are indexed alongside it.
Any secondary-market appearance — house, date, lot, hammer, result — is recorded, whether or not The Blend brokers the sale.
Appraisal records, insured value at time of transfer, and condition reports are stored against the registry entry for the owner and their insurer.
The full lineage of the work — studio, first release, every subsequent transfer — presented as a single continuous public timeline.
